Water In your Oxford, MS Closet

This is a picture of a closet in an Oxford, MS home that took on water.  As the before picture indicates all the carpet on the floor of the closet was wet.  Our SERVPRO of Oxford/Batesville/Clarksdale team quickly responded to the call.  First we extracted the water and then pulled the baseboards of the affected area.  In these cases the baseboards act as a moisture barrier and prolong the drying process.  To counteract this, the baseboards are removed to allow the walls to be dried.  As the after picture shows we were able to dry all the moisture and the baseboards can be put back.
