Fire damage can be devastating.  That’s why it is so important to be prepared for any situation and know what to do if a fire occurs.  Here are a few fire safety tips.

• Make sure you have a working fire alarm and change the batteries as needed. A fire alarm can save your life by providing you with an early sign of a fire.
• Have an exit strategy. Make sure you know the fastest way to get out should a fire occur. 
• Invest in a portable fire extinguisher. Getting a small grease fire out quickly could save your home.
• Make sure everyone in the home knows how to call 911 and knows the exit strategy.
