Broken sprinkler line that led to water damage at the property.

Unexpected emergencies happen, no matter how prepared you are.  Recently we were called out to a commercial account who had contractors doing some work and they had accidentally stepped on and broken a sprinkler supply line.  As you can imagine this meant water everywhere and left the construction company needing assistance.  Thankfully they called SERVPRO of Oxford/Batesville/Clarksdale.  Getting to an emergency job is a top priority for SERVPRO of OBC so we utilize our 1-4-8 Response Guidelines.

• Within 1 hour of notice of loss be in contact with you developing a plan to begin service

• Within the first 8 hours of work provide an update of scope of work

Because of this guideline this construction company didn’t have to worry about making sure their mistake was properly taken care of.  Not only did our team arrive immediately to get first eyes on the job, we stayed until late in the night to make sure any water extraction was completed, immediate cleanup was taken care of, and the drying process had been started.
