Sprinkler System Accident Causes Water Loss

Most commercial buildings require sprinkler systems. They are a great safety measure for when a fire occurs, however, if one were to go off accidentally or from construction, they could cause major water damage to your business. This particular Oxford location was having renovations done and while removing a ceiling the sprinkler was activated and began filling the second floor with water. They quickly called SERVPRO and we arrived to assess the damage within minutes. Our crew loaded up extracting and drying equipment and was on the scene soon after. They worked well into the evening extracting water and placing dehumidifiers and air movement to begin the drying process.
