Commercial Sewage Loss at Oxford, MS School

Sewage losses can be caused by many things like backed up sewer lines or infiltration of tree roots.  Whatever the cause, the damage can be messy and should not be addressed as a basic cleaning.  Sewage waste can be extremely hazardous and needs the attention of professionals. 

Recently we were called out to a local school here in Oxford, MS.  The sewage line had become clogged and waste was coming up through the drains in the bathrooms and seeping into classrooms and offices.  We had first responders arrive immediately to assess the damage so the crews could load up and get there quickly.  Thankfully, the contractors had built the walls to where there was a gap in between the sheet rock and the floor.  This saved the school from having category 3 water affecting the walls which made cleanup much easier.  Our team extracted all the standing water and waste and treated the floors with antimicrobial and disinfecting agents.  Because of the quick response we were able to get the areas cleaned up so the students could return to a safe clean environment the next day!
