SERVPRO of OBC's tent at the Spring Run and PBR Shootout

April and May were a fun and busy month for SERVPRO of Oxford / Batesville / Clarksdale.  We not only were busy helping out many residential customers with general cleaning services and mold remediation we were active in the Oxford and Batesville communities. 

The last weekend in April if you live in Oxford, MS is devoted to the Double Decker Arts Festival.  The name only begins to tell you about this weekend.  Yes, there is art and music that you would expect, but the largest day of the weekend is Saturday that is kicked off with a Spring Run.  Even though we did not participate in the actual running our team at SERVPRO of Oxford / Batesville / Clarksdale woke up early to have treats for the 1000+ runners that were there to either run the 5k or 10k race.  Whether they needed a pre-run boost of energy or a post run recovery, our booth with hundreds of packs of trail mix was ready!

The next weekend we were a proud sponsor of the PBR Shootout at the Batesville Civic Center.  This is a new event for Batesville and SERVPRO of OBC was happy to contribute and set up a booth at the event.  Not only were there SERVPRO koozies being given away we also had a fun time raffling off a cooler with goodies including a belt buckle for any aspiring cowboys in attendance. 

So, the next time you’re at an event in the Oxford/Batesville/Clarkdale area, be on the look-out for our green tent!
